A. Monday through Friday - 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.

Q. Do my parents need to come with me to get a driver's license or an instruction permit?
A. If you are under the age of 16, yes (one parent or guardian). If you are over 16, you can sign to verify your 50 hours of driving.

Q. What do I need to get a restricted license?
A. A state-issued birth certificate, a DE-99 (Driver's Education Completion Form), your social security card (if that is the number you want on your license), an affidavit stating you have completed at least 25 hours of supervised driving if you are under age 16 (and knowing that 50 hours of supervised driving, 10 hours at night, must be completed before your restriction can be removed), and your parent or guardian to sign the proper documentation. You must have held a state issued instruction permit for at least 6 months before you can apply for a restricted license. You will also have to pass an eye test and pay the appropriate fees.

Q. What do I need to get a Farm Permit Driver's license?
A. A state-issued birth certificate, a DE-99 (Driver's Education Completion Form), the farmer you work for to come in and sign a document, your social security card (if that is the number you want on your license), and your parent or guardian to sign the proper documentation. If you obtain a farm permit, it will be necessary for you to complete 50 hours of supervised driving, 10 of those hours at night, before your license will be unrestricted. You will also have to pass an eye test and pay the appropriate fees.

Q. Can I get an instruction permit if I have taken Driver's Education?
A. Yes. You will need a state-issued birth certificate, the pink copy of your DE-99 (Driver's License Education Form), your social security card (if that is the number you want to use on your permit), and a parent or guardian to sign the proper documentation. You will also have to pass an eye test.

Q. Can I get an instruction permit if I haven't taken Driver's Education?
A. Yes. At a full service Station. We do not do instruction permit if you have not taken Driver's Education. If you chose to go to a full service station you will be required to take a closed book test and an eye test. You will also need the state-issued birth certificate, your social security card, and your parent or guardian to sign the proper documentation.
