Highway Department

Equipment Operator - Full-Time

Lincoln County Highway Department is accepting applications for a full-time Equipment Operator and a Truck Driver. Knowledge of mechanics, welding, measuring, and working knowledge of mathematics is beneficial to both positions. The ability to operate loaders, dozers, mowers, motor graders, trucks, and other heavy equipment is preferred.  A thorough knowledge of the physical layout of Lincoln County is also preferred. This employee should have good organizational, public relations, and oral and written communication skills. This employee needs to be able to adapt to changing technology. A high school diploma or GED is required, and applicants must have a valid class "A" CDL license with manual transmission or be willing to acquire one.

 Ambulance

EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic 

This position will work as needed. Weekend availability is a must. Applicants must possess a valid Kansas driver’s license and current Kansas EMT or higher certification. Applicants should be highly motivated and work well under pressure. Actively looking to fill a full-time EMT position. Advanced Life Support (ALS) Certification is preferred but not required. 

 

Health Department

Registered Nurse

This full-time position includes providing direct nursing services for patients, immunizations, WIC services, and assisting with educational programs and promoting those programs. This position will work approximately 40 hours per week and may require the individual to assume certain duties in the administrator’s absence. Wage dependent upon experience.
