Human Resource Officer - Full-Time
Under the supervision of the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners, the Human Resource Officer handles various job responsibilities including processing payroll, maintaining personnel records, recruiting new employees, assisting department heads with employment issues. This employee must possess excellent organizational, written and oral communication, as well as public relation skills. This position must handle numerous duties simultaneously, and have the ability to handle confidential information without compromise.
Health Department
Health Nurse / Administrator
The Health Nurse / Administrator is responsible for providing overall direction, supervision and management of the agency. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the community health-nursing program, coordinating and networking with other organizations and services, developing and interpreting policies and procedures and maintaining acceptable standards. This employee also performs direct nursing services in clinics and satellite clinics with duties that include immunizations, -estrogen injections, WIC services and child and adult health services. In addition to administrative functions, this employee will perform all duties of the county health nurse and serves as the Public Health Emergency Preparedness Coordinator. Although work is performed according to federal and state guidelines, this employee must exercise considerable independent judgement when carrying out the responsibilities of this position. This employee has access to protected health information and must maintain the confidentiality of this information. This employee should possess excellent organizational, communication, and public relation skills.
Highway Department
Equipment Operator– Full-Time
Lincoln County Highway Department is accepting applications for a full-time Equipment Operator. This applicant must possess knowledge of mechanics, welding and measuring and working knowledge of mathematics is necessary. The ability to operate loaders, dozers, mowers, motor graders, trucks, and other heavy equipment is required with a high degree of accuracy. The ability to understand and interpret written instructions, maps, schematics, manuals, reports, regulations, and other written material is required. A thorough knowledge of the physical layout of Lincoln County is required. This employee should have good organizational, public relations, and oral and written communication skills. This employee needs to be able to adapt to changing technology. High school diploma or GED is required, and applicants must have a valid class “A” CDL license with manual transmission or be willing to acquire one.
Year Round Open Position, Part-time Per-need
EMT, AEMT, Paramedic or RN
This position will work as needed. Applicants must possess a valid Kansas driver’s license and current Kansas EMT or higher certification. Applicants should be highly motivated and work well under pressure.
